Last month, McCormick Taylor unveiled concept renderings for the Main Street, Phase 2 and Wayne Avenue Streetscape Projects in downtown Waynesboro, Virginia during a public information session. Highlights of the streetscape include new sidewalk, pedestrian bump-outs, trees, benches and bike racks. The goal of the City’s downtown revitalization effort is to attract investments from the private sector in existing housing, businesses, and jobs. With assistance from Land Planning and Design Associates, who helped with streetscape aesthetics, concept plans have been completed with the preliminary and final design plans to be completed and presented to the public and City Council this summer.
