In 1946, Thomas J. McCormick, P.E., a prominent engineer and professor in Philadelphia, began McCormick Taylor. He had a vision for a company with a collaborative and participatory approach. In the early 1950s, Paul G. Taylor joined him to help create a company with a passionate and continuous drive for quality, dependability and integrity.

Thomas A. Caramanico, P.E., now guides the firm’s services, which have grown to include Engineering, Planning, Environmental, and Communications and Management for public agencies throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
