Hydrology/Hydraulics Engineer Seeking a mid-level Hydrology/Hydraulics Engineer with 4 to 8 years’ experience. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a thorough understanding of engineering principles. Experience with PennDOT/PTC design standards, analysis and design software, and plan preparation and procedures is required. Candidates must be experienced in the permitting process for PADEP Chapter105/106, General, Water obstruction and encroachment permits and the USACE Section 404 permit. Qualified candidates will be required to perform assignments using PennDOT/DEP/PTC design specifications for the design of highway bridges, culverts and related structures. Strong communication skills and ability to produce various engineering reports for the clients are essential. P.E. is preferred; E.I. is required. Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is a must.
