PTC Selects McCormick Taylor for Roadway Reconstruction ProjectWe are proud to announce the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission’s selection of McCormick Taylor for the full-depth roadway reconstruction project from MP 180.00 to MP 186.00 in Fulton and Huntington counties, PA. The scope of McCormick Taylor’s preliminary and final design effort will include the reconstruction of approximately six miles of the turnpike, replacement of mainline structures, as well as lengthening culverts and retaining walls. The reconstruction will result in a six-lane typical section and widening of the median width from 10 feet to 26 feet. Our subconsultant team is comprised of Schoor DePalma, Inc., for highway and bridge design support; Alpha Consulting Engineers, for survey; Prime Engineering & Architecture, Inc., for geotechnical and bridge design support; The Markosky Engineering Group, for highway and bridge design support; and Dawood Engineering, Inc., for lead geotechnical explorations, bridge design support and survey support.
