Highway / Traffic Designers / Engineers
Mid to Sr.-Level Seeking Civil Highway & Traffic Designers/Engineers with 3-10+ years’ experience in highway and/or traffic engineering for transportation-related projects in Virginia. B.S. in Civil Engineering and P.E. license are preferred, but not required. Candidate must have proficiency in performing all aspects of highway design. Experience must include knowledge of VDOT design standards and procedures and preparation of preliminary and final design projects. Strong communication and writing skills are needed. Candidate must be able to oversee the work of Highway Designers and CAD Operators. Must be proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation and/or GeoPak. Candidate must be able to work as part of a larger design team as well as on independent design projects.

Highway Designer
Entry to Mid-Level Seeking an entry to mid-level Civil Highway Designer with experience involving highway design work associated with transportation projects in Virginia. Marketing Coordinator Seeking applicants with 3+ years experience for a Marketing Coordinator position to support busy branch office in Richmond, VA. This marketing position will support the branch office and coordinate and serve as a liaison with the Marketing Department based in McCormick Taylor’s main office in Philadelphia, PA.
Primary responsibilities include: coordinates proposal preparation/production/delivery; develops/updates technical resumes, project descriptions, statements of qualifications, etc.; monitors advertisements/RFP websites; coordinates with Subconsultants; attends tradeshows and seminars.
Qualifications include: position requires a responsible, professional and detail-oriented individual possessing strong editorial/grammatical skills; knowledge of MS Office Word, Access, Excel and PPT, InDesign is a plus; must be able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and have the willingness and ability to work overtime as needed; professional work exp. required. Previous experience in a Professional Services or Marketing firm is helpful; candidate should enjoy working in a team environment; demonstrate a customer-service minded attitude; proficiency in Word with 70 wpm is required.
