In 2006, I became only the 2nd person at McCormick Taylor to eat a two-foot Primo Hoagie.
Where’s the most interesting place you’ve been?
The lava fields on Kilauea, an active volcano in Hawaii.
What are three things you can’t live without?
Coffee, my family, and exercise.
With almost 20 years of experience, Stefan is a Senior Project Manager, Transportation Engineering and manages McCormick Taylor’s Newark, Delaware office. His experience in our Highway Group has focused on stormwater management, drainage design, erosion and sediment pollution control, hydrology and hydraulic studies, and other various design aspects, including horizontal and vertical roadway geometry, intersection grading, right-of-way, maintenance of traffic, and roadside development.
Stefan’s favorite part of his day-to-day job is the people he works with. He enjoys being around our staff in the Delaware office; everyone is a part of Delaware’s local engineering community and brings unique personalities and interests together to form a fantastic team on any transportation project.
Currently, Stefan is working on the Downes Elementary Safe Routes to School project. It includes new bike lanes and pedestrian refuge islands to provide safe and accessible facilities for students to bike and walk to school within the community. The project is four blocks from Stefan’s house, so he gets to see its progress regularly!
Stefan’s best memory with McCormick Taylor is meeting his wife!
