McCormick Taylor earns a place on the 2014 ZweigWhite Hot Firm List

McCormick Taylor was named to ZweigWhite’s 2014 Hot Firm List, a ranking of the fastest-growing firms in the architecture, engineering, planning and environmental industries. This is the firm’s first appearance on the annual list, landing at number 84 out of 100.

The Hot Firm List acknowledges firms in the United States and Canada who have demonstrated the highest percentage of revenue growth and dollar revenue growth over a three-year period compared to other entrants.

In a joint statement, McCormick Taylor’s Co-owners Jim Wiggans, P.E. and Pat Guise said, “What makes this recognition special is knowing that our growth has always been organic through traditional hiring and new market expansion. McCormick Taylor has aggressive plans for future growth and we are excited to see what 2015 brings.”

Plum and Walnut Street wins Best Urban BMP in the Bay award

The Plum and Walnut Street Intersection Improvement Project was selected as the grand prize winner of the first annual Best Urban BMP in the Bay award (BUBBA). The City of Lancaster project received more than 800 public votes (over 1,800 were received in total for the competition) and earned a $5,000 prize for the City. The BUBBA recognizes the best urban BMPs that have been installed in the Chesapeake Bay watershed and shines a light on innovators in the field who are using new techniques for facing the challenges of stormwater management. Cindy McCormick, Al Federico, Anthony Valencia and Kyle Mundy served as key staff for McCormick Taylor. Team member CH2M Hill completed the green infrastructure design.
