On Monday, May 11, McCormick Taylor was honored with a 2015 Leadership Award from the Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management Association (GVF). The award was presented at GVF’s 25th Annual Meeting in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, which drew a crowd of more than 130 and featured keynote speakers PennDOT Secretary of Transportation Leslie Richards and U.S. Senator Bob Casey Jr.
The Leadership Awards acknowledged individuals and organizations for remarkable leadership in improving transportation and infrastructure in the region. GVF also recognized the 2nd Annual Top TDM Professionals under 40. McCormick Taylor’s Emily Scholl, P.E. and Sarah LoGiudice, AICP were noted among the 24 ambitious leaders who have made a positive impact in the transportation industry.

Jennifer Horn is a communications specialist at McCormick Taylor
On Thursday, May 7, Communications Specialist Jennifer Horn accepted the 2015 Outstanding Young Professional in Public Administration Award at the Third Annual Celebration of Public Service Excellence Ceremony in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. The yearly event is coordinated by the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration, and the awards celebrate individuals who provide leadership and integrity in the field of public administration.
As a member of McCormick Taylor’s Communications team, Jennifer is integral to our firm’s public outreach work for the Pennsylvania State Transportation Innovation Council. She was nominated by the Assistant Executive Director of Pennsylvania’s Senate Transportation Committee, Nolan Ritchie, who was formerly with PennDOT’s Bureau of Innovations.
In April, Jennifer was honored by Temple University with the 2015 AICP Outstanding Student Award in recognition of outstanding attainment in the study of planning, leadership and community involvement.
Andrea Knauer, QEP is an environmental monitor at McCormick Taylor.
The Institute of Professional Environmental Practice awarded McCormick Taylor’s Andrea Knauer certification as a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP). The QEP certification is an international, multidisciplinary, board-certified credential that environmental professionals may earn after a thorough review of qualifications and satisfactory completion of an oral/written exam. QEPs demonstrate a broad understanding of the environment and environmental issues. To maintain her certification, Andrea will participate in continuing education and maintain high ethical standards.
