Over her 18-year career with McCormick Taylor, Afton has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s marketing strategy, executing business development plans aligned with company goals, discipline expertise, and regional markets. Recognized for her strategic thinking and collaborative spirit, Afton is passionate about McCormick Taylor’s presence and guiding its future growth. She leads a dynamic team of creative and marketing professionals specializing in market analysis, brand positioning, proposal development, and capture planning.
 
Afton is a firm believer in the benefit of industry organizations and has made significant contributions over the years. She has been an active SMPS member since 2012, serving on the Philadelphia Chapter’s Board of Directors for two terms as the Director-at-Large for Membership (2012-2014), two terms as the Treasurer (2014-2018), and as Chapter President (2019-2020). Since 2021, she has served on the SMPS Northeastern Regional Conference Board as the Philadelphia Chapter representative.
