McCORMICK TAYLOR NAMED A BICYCLE FRIENDLY BUSINESS

At McCormick Taylor, we’re often focused on creating a better way to get to work. From highways to public transportation, our work helps people get from point A to point B.

But for many of us at McCormick Taylor, we prefer biking.

On May 18, staff from across our offices participated in National Bike to Work Day, hitting the streets of our respective cities for a community-wide commute.

And on May 17, our Baltimore office was named a Bronze-level Bicycle Friendly Business (BFB) by the League of American Bicyclists. This distinction recognizes our efforts to “encourage a more welcoming atmosphere for bicycling employees, customers and the community.”

Employees in the office embrace cycling to work and hope that recognition as a Bicycle Friendly Business will encourage colleagues to come along for the ride. There a lot of amenities at or near the Baltimore office, such as bike parking, showers, bike share, and transit.

With the distinction, McCormick Taylor joins nearly 1,350 local businesses, government agencies, and Fortune 500 companies across the U.S. that are transforming the American workplace. To learn more about the BFB program, visit bikeleague.org/business.

Join us next year for Bike to Work Day—or better yet, the next sunny day. You may see some of our staff peddling by!
