McCORMICK TAYLOR SUPPORTS THE NATIONAL BLACK WOMEN'S JUSTICE INSTITUTE (NBWJI)

Dei

McCormick Taylor’s Charity Committee helps our employees give back to their communities. By becoming involved with our employees’ different organizations, programs, and charities, we grow closer to our employees and the places we call home. This quarter we’re highlighting the National Black Women’s Justice Institute.

NBWJI’s mission is to research, elevate, and educate the public about innovative, community-led solutions to address the criminalization of Black women and girls. They envision a society that respects, values, and honors the humanity of Black women and girls, takes accountability for the harm it has inflicted, and recognizes that real justice is healing.

McCormick Taylor’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee requested funds from our Charity Committee for NBWJI to acknowledge the significant impact that Black women have on our country. Our donation will help NBWJI transform and expand the landscape of opportunities with and for system-impacted Black women, girls, and gender-nonconforming people.
