BEN CHIERICI AWARDED ASCE SOUTH JERSEY BRANCH SCHOLARSHIP

Congratulations to Ben Chierici, a transportation engineering intern in our Mount Laurel office, who was recently awarded the ASCE South Jersey Branch Scholarship. He was also selected for the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey’s John F. Donohoe Scholarship.

On July 19, Ben headed to Arlington, VA to participate in ASCE Construction Institute’s Student Days program. There, 36 students from across the country teamed up to create a bid package for a real-world construction job and present their proposal to construction professionals. Ben will be a senior at Rowan University this fall. His goal is to take the EIT exam in a few weeks and graduate Summa Cum Laude from college next year.

“I can’t thank the ASCE Construction Institute enough for inviting me to be one of the students to attend their Student Days program,” Ben said. “It was an awesome experience being able to meet with professionals in the construction industry and get a better understanding of the work they perform. I am super proud and appreciative to have had a team as passionate about civil engineering as I am.”
