With an ’80s-themed celebration highlighting McCormick Taylor’s milestone 80th anniversary, this year’s Annual Employee Recognition Dinner (ERD) was nothing short of epic as we honored our history, our people, and our bright future ahead.
Employees, friends, and loved ones attending the event channeled their inner 80s personas with radical outfits and hairstyles, notching up the excitement and fun. Held in downtown Philadelphia, the ERD started off with a social hour, allowing colleagues from across our 16 offices to connect and capture images in the 360 photo booth. An engaging game of company trivia created by our in-house Creative Development team was also available to spur conversation and competition. The dinner kicked off with a welcome from company leadership and '80s-themed dancers that complemented the host DJ throughout the night. Forty employees celebrating milestone anniversaries of their own ranging from 5 to 35 years of service were recognized for their accomplishments and commitment. The winners of the company Photo Contest and event raffles were announced with multiple high-value prizes awarded.
Employees shared overwhelmingly positive feedback about the event, calling it one of the most fun experiences they’ve had in a long time. The ’80s theme and music helped get everyone energized and dancing, while the MC and DJ were praised for keeping the event lively, well-paced, and right on schedule. Overall, the themed party created a memorable and engaging experience for everyone involved.
