Bio

Jim oversees the strategic pursuits, quality assurance, and operations of the firm’s Maryland and Delaware offices. He is responsible for all aspects of roadway design for freeways, major collectors, local roads, and roundabouts. His extensive experience also includes the design of sound barriers, stream restorations, and the rehabilitation of both railways and airport taxiways.

 

In his over 25 years of experience, Jim has performed services for both state and federal agencies in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania. His current responsibilities include geometric design, alternative analysis, community involvement, drainage and utility design and coordination, QA/QC reviews, planning studies, engineer’s cost estimates, and the preparation of final PS&E bid packages for advertisement. 

 

Jim is an active member of ASHE, MAE, ASCE, DBIA, CEAM, and serves on the Baltimore City Liaison Committee for ACEC/MD. This passionate Baltimore Ravens and Penn State football fan cheers on his teams every weekend throughout the season.
